Three Catholic Traps Dangerous to Christians

By Richard Bennett and Stuart Quint   To this day, the Catholic Church seeks to ensnare true Christians in its various schemes.  While the Roman Church has modified its tactics through history, nonetheless its goal remains the same: subjugating Bible believers to the Roman Catholic Church. The Catholic Church’s immediate response to the Biblical Reformation[1] Read More

Reaching the Catholic with the Gospel

What does it means to enjoy fellowship with Father, Son and Holy Spirit? The Scriptures have much to say on the fellowship which exists between God and His people. In the words of Jesus Christ, “at that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you” (John 14:20). The greatest joy we have in this world is understanding and living everlasting life.

    Biblical Revival

Gods grace in the glory of Christ Jesus is superabundant. Should we not expect to be touched by it in true revival in our day even with the apostasy that is so evident in our day? This is so because the Lord Jesus remains the Anointed One. His purpose as our Mediator continues. On the day of Pentecost, He was declared to be exalted, as the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was not for Himself, but for us His people.

    Pope XVI Denounces True Christians

The Pope’s denunciation of true Christian was carried across the world as a major news item on July 10-11, 2007. For example, the UK Times declared, “If it isn’t Roman Catholic then it’s not a proper Church, Pope tells Christians.” Other headlines were, “Vatican text angers Protestants” and “Pope Benedict XVI Detours Salvation Through Catholic Church.” Because of the consequences of the Pope’s decree, and the change of Vatican policy involved, it is necessary to analyze the document and its after effects on true believers.
This careful scrutiny of what has happened is evaluated on this video with Richard Bennett and Michael de Semlyen.

    Evangelicals Embark to Papal Rome

Several well respected and influential Evangelicals have compromised with the false gospel of the Roman Catholic Church. Michael de Semlyen and Richard Bennett make the presentation along with narration with Brian Haskin’s. We believe that what is required is biblical separation from those who have perverted the Gospel of Christ. Christians must first know the facts, what has happened and is happening before our eyes. We pray to the all holy and
righteous God that despite all of this His Gospel may be made even more splendidly clear to many for the glory of His name and the salvation of souls.

The Mindset of Catholicism Permeating Evangelicalism

Richard Bennett highlights the Catholic Church’s official teaching that people are spiritually wounded rather than being spiritually dead in trespasses and sins and in need of conviction and conversion. He shows how this same mindset has become the basis of the so-called gospel message in the New Evangelical movement and its churches. The Catholic mindset of propagating images of Christ now accepted in New Evangelical churches in pictures of Christ, Sunday school materials and DVDs is shown
to be the most dangerous of the Catholic mindsets to pervade Christian circles.

Newman’s Eucharist Devotion: A Jesuit Trap for English Souls

John Henry Newman was a double agent for Rome who helped to lead Anglicans into the Roman Catholic Church. After leaving the Church of England, Newman was ordained a Cardinal and posthumously canonized by Rome. One of his most serious errors was teaching the symbolic Lord’s Supper as if it were the Lord Himself. This error can lead people into apostasy as many are fascinated by the mystical aspect of the claimed actual presence of the Lord.
However Newman’s mystical Jesus is simply the age-old temptation of looking to a physical substance to obtain life. In this video Richard Bennett and Michael de Semlyen analyze the consequences.

Rome’s First Ecumenical Saint, John Henry Newman

Rome has honored John Henry Newman by placing him on the path to Catholic sainthood. He was infamous for betraying the English people by infiltrating the Church of England with secret Papal doctrines and practices that betrayed its historic roots in the Reformation. Fearing exposure of his betraying work, Newman fled the Church of England and converted to Roman Catholicism. He became a Cardinal in the Catholic Church before his death in 1890.
Newman is a sobering example of the perils of flirting with Rome and its ecumenical tactics to destroy the Gospel of Christ.

Beholding the Glory of God by Richard Bennett

It is glorious to grasp even slightly the excellence of the glory of God. Normal Christian Life and Catholicism

Both the Christian life and the Catholic Church are based on some of the great essential truths of God’s revelation. The question therefore must be asked, is the Catholic Church normal Christian life? Richard Bennett addresses this basic and essential question in a one-hour presentation.

    The Pentacostal Road to Rome

The phenomena of what is called speaking in tongues continues to this day. The modern-day fallacy of “tongues” promotes the falsehood that someone who “speaks in tongues” is spiritually superior to one who does not engage in this practice. Richard Bennett and Greg Bentley expose this dreadful lie which continues as Pentecostal people work together with Roman Catholics. Moreover, a delegation of Pentecostals, led by televangelist Kenneth Copeland, met with Pope Francis at the Vatican in November 2015.
Thus, it is truly necessary that this expanding falsehood is challenged with biblical truth.

    Roman Catholic Perspectives Pervade Evangelicalism

Richard Bennett highlights the Catholic Church’s official teaching that both scripture and tradition are to be honored equally. This mindset is now permeating Evangelical Churches with the introduction of physiology and various business and marketing techniques. Modern Charismatic expressions are also leading the way back to Roman Catholicism.

Understanding true revival and praying for it to be our greatest desire.

    Delighting in our Salvation

The greatest joy we have in this world is our awareness of everlasting life and our living that life. It is our privilege to taste fellowship with God Himself, and to take great comfort in it, as Scripture states, “if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” Experiencing fellowship with God is that for which Jesus Christ prayed on the night before He died.

The Alignment of New Evangelicals with Apostasy

A person calling himself Evangelical is professing to be committed to the Gospel of Christ as proclaimed in Scripture. The true Gospel demands separation from all who teach another Gospel. As the Apostle declared, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”3

The five biblical principles of the Reformation and Revival.

All true revival in both Old and New Testament times has been a return to the absolute authority of God’s written Word.  The absolute authority of God’s written Word was normative for the Old Testament saints.  Likewise, the absolute authority for Christ Jesus and for the apostles was God’s written Word and that alone.

    Rome Exalts Her Throne

Where do the Evangelicals stand now. On September 5, 2000, the Roman Catholic document called, “Dominus Iesus” was issued by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger; head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Carrying the full authority of an official Vatican decree, it declares the Roman Catholic Church to be the only “instrument for the salvation of all humanity.” Dominus Iesus has been “ratified and confirmed” by “The Sovereign Pontiff John Paul II.”

The Invincible Gospel and the Modern Evangelical Lie

What is promoted today in most churches is the concept that one “asks Jesus into their heart” or “walks and isle in a church to give your life to Christ” and it is a lie. Biblically, salvation is granted because of what Christ alone accomplished on the cross and we received this understanding by faith granted supernaturally as a gift from God.

Alignment of New Evangelicals With Apostasy

A clear call to biblical separation from Rome and “Protestants” who teach and practice Roman Catholic doctrine. Richard Bennett as a former Roman catholic priest demonstrates the advantage he has in rebuking wayward Protestants as they fall into Romish errors regarding salvation.  Focusing on the backsliding of men like Chuck Colson, J.I. Packer, John Stott, Pat Robertson, Bill Bright (Campus Crusade) & others (like the two Jesuits) who signed the Evangelicals and Catholic Together (ECT) documents, he shows how these men are upholding the Antichrist (the Papacy) and the teaching of the Council of Trent.

The Heritage of the Reformation for the Present Time

The Heritage of the Reformation is essential to our present time. Former Dominican Priest, Richard Bennett presents this heritage with fervor If you want revival, you ought to first seek the principles of Scripture as rediscovered at the Reformation.  If personally, and in your church, you return to the foundational authority of Scripture alone, deeply experience grace alone through faith alone, and comprehend all blessing in Jesus Christ alone, then indeed, you will live proclaiming all glory and praise to the Lord God alone!

Absolute Biblical Truth Opposed by Roman Catholicism

The Lord Jesus Christ promised the Apostles, “when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.” “All truth” signifies all revealed truth, which is recorded in the written Word.   God’s truth is an indissoluble, balanced and harmonious whole.  In the Bible we have “all truth.”  This is clearly understood by inference in the last scriptural command, “If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.”

The Certainty of the Written Word

The Lord Jesus Christ, in His great high priestly prayer, declared clearly the truth of God’s Word. He said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” God’s Word not only contains the truth but rather it is truth itself. The Lord Himself therefore identified truth with the Written Word. There is no source, other than written Scripture alone, to which the statement, “thy word is truth” can apply. This in contrast to the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church.

The Invincible Gospel vs. Phony Modern Evangelism

Many modern Evangelicals give what they call “the Gospel” in such words as, “Accept Jesus into your heart.” “Give Jesus control of your life to be saved” and “Give your life to Jesus to be saved.” This is quite similar to Catholicism in so much as it looks for salvation in the human heart, and is brought about by man’s own decision.
