Idolatry in the Evangelical camp

This is a reading of the article written by Virgil Dunbar and Richard Bennet concerning Evangelical Christians who allow images of the Roman Catholic Jesus in their sanctuaries.

The Alignment of New Evangelicals with Apostasy

A person calling himself Evangelical is professing to be committed to the Gospel of Christ as proclaimed in Scripture. The true Gospel demands separation from all who teach another Gospel. As the Apostle declared, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”3

The Ecumenical Apostasy of Evangelicals

Gods grace in the glory of Christ Jesus is superabundant. Should we not expect to be touched by it in true revival in our day even with the apostasy that is so evident in our day? This is so because the Lord Jesus remains the Anointed One. His purpose as our Mediator continues. On the day of Pentecost, He was declared to be exalted, as the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was not for Himself, but for us His people. Understanding true revival and praying for it to be our greatest desire.

The Curse of Dual Authorities

The Bible and Catholicism

Former Roman Catholic Priest, Richard Bennett, exposes the vast differences between the Bible and the Catholic religion. These are not just minor differences but 180 degree opposite positions on such important topics as salvation and the very worship of God.

Delighting in our Salvation

The greatest joy we have in this world is our awareness of everlasting life and our living that life. It is our privilege to taste fellowship with God Himself, and to take great comfort in it, as Scripture states, “if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” Experiencing fellowship with God is that for which Jesus Christ prayed on the night before He died.
