The Mindset of Catholicism Permeating Evangelicalism

Richard Bennett highlights the Catholic Church’s official teaching that people are spiritually wounded rather than being spiritually dead in trespasses and sins and in need of conviction and conversion. He shows how this same mindset has become the basis of the so-called gospel message in the New Evangelical movement and its churches. The Catholic mindset of propagating images of Christ now accepted in New Evangelical churches in pictures of Christ, Sunday school materials and DVDs is shown.
