    What is the Gospel?
Every person needs to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and why this is good news for the one who trusts and leans on Him for eternal life. Learn the clear truth of God’s perfection and holiness, humankind’s utter sinfulness, why only Christ’s perfect merits through His atonement can save us from God’s wrath and reconcile us with God, and why our good works cannot justify us before the all-holy God. This message is vital for everyone, particularly for the nominal or religious Catholic or Eastern Orthodox believer.

    What Every Catholic Should Know

Every good Catholic wants to please God in this present life and, when life on earth is over, hopes to live with Him forever. It is a noble goal based on personal beliefs about God and how to know Him. However, noble intentions and personal beliefs about God do not guarantee results—or eternal life. I Read More

Rome and “Lutherans” Deny Christ Alone Saves

Dear Friend, While apostasy is predicted in Scripture, it still comes as a shock to see it face-to-face.  The apostasy seen with the Roman Catholic Church and the Lutheran World Federation in October 31, 1999, regarding “The Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification” was called “a milestone in Christian history.”  It was also known as Read More

Catholic Sacraments: Ruthless Trafficking in Human Souls

By Richard Bennett and Stuart Quint Before a general audience in Rome in 2013, Pope Francis declared: “First of all, the communion of the Sacraments. The Sacraments express and realize an effective and profound communion among us, for in them we encounter Christ the Saviour and, through him, our brothers and sisters in faith. The Read More

True Gospel in the Context of My Own Testimony – Richard M. Bennett

By Richard Bennett From the time I was a young boy in Dublin, Ireland, I was taught to look within myself for holiness. In my years in a Jesuit elementary and secondary school, I was trained to look within myself for moral goodness through the sacraments and mental prayer. I was ordained as a Dominican Read More

Letter to Ireland: Leave Rome and Seek Christ!

Dear Irish Friends, On May 26, 2018, Ireland voted to end the ban on abortion.  Abortion is morally wrong.  It is a sin in the sight of God. Concerning the unborn child in the mother’s womb, the Bible states; “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.”[1]  The Bible Read More

Eternal Life in Christ or Despair in Roman Catholic Purgatory?

By Richard Bennett and Stuart Quint The Roman Catholic Church spells out its teaching on life after death with the heading “The Final Purification, or Purgatory”: “All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve Read More

    Salvation and the Sacraments

Quite a number of people have become Roman Catholics because of the appeal of the Catholic Sacraments. It is necessary therefore to see just what is attractive in these seven signs of Catholicism and to analyze the same in the light of Biblical truth. The most important difference between Biblical faith and Roman Catholicism is Read More

    Are Catholics Christians?

While one analyzes Catholicism in the light of biblical faith, one reaches an irrefutable answer and the outcome must also be carefully investigated.  Many Evangelicals will be dismayed that such a question need even be asked.  Moreover, the question will be totally abhorrent to those in ecumenical movements, such as “Evangelicals and Catholics Together” and “Christian Churches Together.”  Thus, Read More

    Do Catholics Possess Life Eternal?

by Richard Bennett Dear Friend, Do Catholics Possess Life Eternal? It is with great sensitivity that I write on this question. Because I remember the grip that Catholicism had on my own soul for 48 years I write with affection for Catholics. Yet while I analyze official Catholic teachings in the light of biblical faith Read More

The Invincible Gospel & The Modern Evangelical Lie

BY RICHARD BENNETT “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, Read More

Reaching the Catholic with the Gospel

I had great difficulties as a Catholic priest in listening to evangelists in my fourteen years of searching for the true Gospel. Christian radio programs continually told me the amount of things I had to do to “accept Jesus into my heart.” Christian tracts likewise told me the amount of dedication or commitment I needed Read More

    Everlasting Life

What does it means to enjoy fellowship with Father, Son and Holy Spirit? The Scriptures have much to say on the fellowship which exists between God and His people. In the words of Jesus Christ, “at that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you” (John 14:20). The greatest joy we have in this world is understanding and living everlasting life.

Beholding the Glory of God by Richard Bennett

It is glorious to grasp even slightly the excellence of the glory of God. It is through this knowledge the Lord God graciously enlightens our minds, convicts our consciences, redeems our souls, and rejoices our hearts. The Lord God is the author of all this, but we are His instruments to personally understand His Glory and thus to share this knowledge with our friends, our family, and those that we meet each day. Compared to beholding this splendor, Catholic rituals are utterly deceitful and meaningless.

The Invincible Gospel vs. Phony Modern Evangelism

Many modern Evangelicals give what they call “the Gospel” in such words as, “Accept Jesus into your heart.” “Give Jesus control of your life to be saved” and “Give your life to Jesus to be saved.” This is quite similar to Catholicism in so much as it looks for salvation in the human heart, and is brought about by man’s own decision.

    Delighting in our Salvation

The greatest joy we have in this world is our awareness of everlasting life and our living that life. It is our privilege to taste fellowship with God Himself, and to take great comfort in it, as Scripture states, “if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.” Experiencing fellowship with God is that for which Jesus Christ prayed on the night before He died.

The Invincible Gospel and the Modern Evangelical Lie

What is promoted today in most churches is the concept that one “asks Jesus into their heart” or “walks and isle in a church to give your life to Christ” and it is a lie. Biblically, salvation is granted because of what Christ alone accomplished on the cross and we received this understanding by faith granted supernaturally as a gift from God.
